Calling all members of the Nepali diaspora in Australia!
Your journey, your voice, and your experiences matter more than ever.
NEPAFE, in partnership with the Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS) and supported by the Australian Embassy in Kathmandu, has launched a nationwide socio-economic survey targeting the Nepali diaspora in Australia.
IIDS is a non-partisan, not-for-profit think tank in Kathmandu with over four decades of experience in research and policy advocacy.
The study aims to gather insights into the lived experiences, aspirations, and contributions of Nepali individuals and families across Australia. The findings will be used to inform policy, strengthen bilateral relations, and promote cultural and economic exchange between Nepal and Australia. This study explores the journeys, motivations, and connections of Nepalis living in Australia, including opportunities in trade, investment, and knowledge sharing.
Participation in the survey is voluntary, takes approximately 15–20 minutes, and is fully confidential. No personal identifiers are collected, and participants will have access to the final findings.
This is a unique opportunity for the Nepali community in Australia to share their stories and help shape future engagement between our two nations.
The survey is available online at: https://ee-eu.kobotoolbox.org/x/DFkgKyek
