Nepalese Association of Agriculture, Forestry and Environment in Australia (NEPAFE) was incorporated by the relevant professionals and experts during a formal workshop held in Sydney on 9 February 2019 to foster scientific exchange and knowledge sharing between Nepal and Australia. The participants of the workshop decided to register the Association in NSW Department of Fair Trading. Hence, the constitution of the Association was developed following the template and requirements for the constitution provided by NSW Fair Trading.
Our Objective
The Nepalese Association of Agriculture, Forestry and Environment in Australia (NEPAFE) fosters a vibrant professional community connecting Nepalese experts, scholars, and practitioners working across agriculture, forestry, environment, and related disciplines throughout Australia.
Our mission is to advance scientific knowledge, promote collaboration, and support sustainable development that benefits both Australia and Nepal. We strengthen research partnerships, facilitate knowledge exchange, empower communities and professional networks, and contribute evidence-based solutions to global challenges - including climate change, food security, and natural resource management.
Through strategic engagement with academic institutions, government agencies, and industry partners, NEPAFE serves as a trusted platform for innovation, policy dialogue, and professional excellence.
Core Objectives
Our Mission
We support communities by sharing science, technology, and expertise in sustainable agriculture, forestry, and natural resource management. We advance research and knowledge sharing, deliver inclusive programs, and empower youth and multicultural communities to become active stewards of the environment.
At the heart of our work is a deep respect for both scientific rigour and traditional ecological knowledge. We believe that durable solutions to global challenges like climate change, food insecurity, biodiversity loss emerge when communities are informed, connected, and empowered to act.
